Huh, that is weird... have you tried again?

1. The price varies a lot. Some good diapers, like Fuzzibunz, are under $20. But they're sized, so you have to buy each size. Prefolds are also sized, along with covers. Whereas some pricier diapers are one-size, so you buy one and you're good with that. It's all a preference, but cloth diapering absolutely can be economical ( ... )

1. prefolds are GREAT for newborns. tons of people use them longer too, and love them. so i think that's a great option to start with this time ( ... )

I think prefolds are the way to go for us, then. I feel like I don't have time to do a lot of research beforehand anyway. If I hate them, at least I'll have time at home post-baby to sit around in a daze while nursing and read about diapers all day. :) Oh wait, I'll have a toddler, too... there goes post-baby daze time...

Thank you!

oh.... and definitely dry pail. with prefolds, you COULD wet pail if you wanted. but they're so stinky and gross. and unsafe (unless you get one with a lock).

wetbags for when you go out! it's very simple.

total cost with a prefold stash? you can do it all for under $100 easy.

most sites i know that sell diapers have GC options.

i know a lot of people who have used little beetle diapers. they get a lot of mixed reviews. i've seen them get hole-y kind of quickly. and they aren't a diaper i would personally buy.
