So I've been giving a lot of thought to angriest's suggestion about serotonin levels being related to the Crohn's flare up. I ran it past both my counsellor and my massage therapist - getting the whole gamut of opinion - and they both gave it some credence. See I've cut milk, but that means sometimes I need *more* soy, otherwise how can I mix yoghurt and cereal for breakfast?

I can't eat cereal so it's not an issue for me.

But there is lactose-free milk - tastes exactly the same. Doesn't have the issue.

Yep - B12 is another one for me, I have my Crohn's in the area of my intenstines where you absorb B12 so that is a constant problem for me.

I'll suggest the lactose free milk to you - changed my life!

With the walnuts, if you've not had walnuts before, the skins are bitter. You can get them skinless if you look around, but I thought I would just warn you if you're sensitive to bitter. (Apparently, I'm not terribly sensitive to bitter.)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. And when you do visit Tasmania... you'll have to keep me well informed of what I'm allowed to put on the menu. Salmon looks good so far!

I will! And its mostly about the routine eating you get into rather than the odd meal here and there.
