It took 3 days before anyone noticed. Funny that. This post isn't about that though. It is about how when you "delete" your facebook, nothing is actually deleted. It just lays dormant on the servers until you feel like logging back in later

If there was stuff on facebook that couldn't be accessed by other means, i would be pissed off, but having my name and my birthday, minus the year? not going to 'cause identity theft.

Now. Facebook may be "friends only" in the strictest sense of the word, but my information is making them money. Just because they're keeping my name/email address out of it doesn't make my information any less mine.
Nevermind the whole other rant about how facebook is just a lazier myspace. GENERATE SOME CONTENT PPLS. JOIN THE WEB TWO POINT OH.

i like facebook for it's events and group pages, it saves people from making a real website, which 10 years later isn't that much different from when i first tried to make one.

Haha my friend Kaarina said the same thing about the "no longer single" bit. I was like DUDE, if something had happeneded, you would be definitely hearing about it before my facebook got updated.
