I got a call at 6:30 this morning. Apparently, Breezy's Grandma (her daddy's mom) was found dead in her bed in Conroe about 3:00 this morning. They think it was a heart attack. I am on the road to recovery....AGAIN!!!! Surgery went well; he removed some old stiches that didn't dissolve and a bunch of scar tissue, but didn't find any "bad stuff"...so that's good news. I go back on January 10 to have stitches removed, and will probably be released to go back to work then as well. (Lord willin' and the creek don't rise ( Read more... )

I will let Breezy sleep just a few more minutes, as my mom is coming in about 20 minutes. We will drop Breezy off at daycare and then go to the Conroe Surgery Center. Whoo hoo!!!! Well, it looks like the doc is not pleased with my elbow's healing. He is going to go back in on Thursday to "clean things out". He said he will go along the original incision, which is about 8 inches long, and this time, he wants to use staples or external stiches to close it in hopes that it doesn't get infected this time.
