24 hours ago mike passed away. he was surrounded by his brother chris and a few close friends. shawn called about an hour before he passed and was able to tell mike that he loved him and goodbye ( Read more... )

this has been one of the worst months i have ever experienced. mike has been pronounced brain dead and has been removed from life saving machines and is being given morphine for any pain. now it is just a matter of time until he passes away. my heart is aching for shawn, not only did he loose his great grandfather two weeks ago he also lost ( Read more... )

i received news from shawn today, who is in GA visiting his friend, that things are looking alot better and that now doctors are able to do tests to see the extent of his injuries including his neck and spinal cord. while i received that good news i received a call from shawn's mom telling me that shawn's great grandfather passed away. he was ( Read more... )

shawn's best friend is in the icu with head trama from a car accident. we received word last night from both mike's family and his friends from akron. we both feel extremely useless because he is in GA and we are here. so now it is a waiting game to see what happens and if anything changes we are most likely going down to see him. what i feel ( Read more... )

christmas and new years were nice. we announced our engagement at my grandparents house on christmas eve. it was overwhelming to see how much they all love shawn and know that he will be a wonderful husband. we also did the same at shawn's aunts house that same night and it was quite wonderful to have to same response from his family about me. got ( Read more... )
