i received news from shawn today, who is in GA visiting his friend, that things are looking alot better and that now doctors are able to do tests to see the extent of his injuries including his neck and spinal cord. while i received that good news i received a call from shawn's mom telling me that shawn's great grandfather passed away. he was fighting stomach cancer and was in a great deal of pain. he turned 90 years old last tuesday. i have to wait to break the news to shawn until tomorrow when he gets home. i dont want to have him upset while driving 12 and half hours home. this has been one hellava two weeks.
