Funny. Laurie Hase Anderson had a party for folks who didn't attend BEA. Now it seems EVERYONE is at ALA. I'll be the first to say I'm pining to be there! I think we need a party for those who couldn't make it to Chicago. Anyone?

Had I looked ahead to see how many pages I had left in Gianna Z, I would have changed my prediction. There are several end pages in the ARC (acknowledgements, recipe, and teacher's/discussion guide), so I thought I had much more in the story. What a whirlwind. We had a blast! Mona arrived at my house promptly at 9:00 (she’s very punctual). She had a cup of coffee and we were on our way.
