I think this is not just my favorite Gathering story, but one of my favorites of your stories, period. But your love life has always had a big of a romantic-comedy feel. Remember Scott, with the whole family answering the phone when you called, and the huge tower of Scott paper towels that you walked by in the grocery store just when you were vowing to forget about him? And your Noah story has a bit of that too, I think.
