I'm glad I managed to get some drawing done today. Usually I'm too tired to do anything but eat dinner and sleep. I need hugs.

I love kakapos. And for a quick sketch, it definitely brings out the personality of the bird. Though possibly it should look slightly more stupid :)

But they're not stupid. Okay, maybe Sirocco wasn't very bright for finding the back of Mark Carwadine's head as sexy as a lady parrot, but he can be quite devious as well.

According to the Last Chance to see book, they built a fence to keep him out of the research centre area because he was rushing staff's legs.

Sirrocco dug a hole (which they have not been able to find) and snuck back in.

Oh, I know; I've got Last Chance To See at home. The problem is that they look kinda dim :)

Oh yeah they are really comical looking. They look cuddly as well but I'm afraid if I hugged Sirocco he would...get ideas.
