On Saturday I had a really fun day out in Camden with wieselkind and henzl who have both recently moved to London to study at UCL. I hadn't been to Camden in ages. There was a scary moment when we ventured into the newly refurbished Cyberdog because I wanted some hair dye, only to be bombarded with dance music and a giant dancing banana. I kid you not. Here is a little Striped Pajama Squid I drew last night in my new sketchbook. I love the yellow pages. I got it from the L. Cornelissen art shop. kankurette is right, that place is like something out of a Harry Potter film.
S. Lineolata is a poisonous cephalopod, and is also known as the "Dumpling squid."

Last night I was rather exhausted, so I lay in bed with a small A5 sketchbook and my Japanese brush pen. I think I will use this setup after surgery, as knowing me I will want to get up and draw, when I should be recovering. This way I can do both.
