Return from Gallifrey

I'm home from Gallifrey and both physically and emotionally exhausted. I wound up having a snafu with my flight and got bumped to a layover flight that put my home 5 hours later than intended. As a result, I spent most of Monday sleeping. Today I went to work, but had an afternoon meeting that let out early so I came home and slept some more

They usually give you a half pound of meat in burgers these days so they're hard to eat and then you walk around with a brick in your gut. So a veggie burger is often a far better option than dead cow on bun.

And I like bacon because I'm really bad at being a jew.

Looks like you guys had so much fun! As a new (I KNOW but I didn't get BBC America in Louisiana) Dr. Who fan (one more reason to love Roger) I'm envious. I keep Roger busy with my Who-related questions. Would love to go to a con one day and learn as much as humanly possible!

OMG, there's one in Chicago? I squee'd. And looked it up and informed Roger that we were going. He said he knew there was one here but never went because his soon-to-be-ex doesn't even like Sci Fi (how can people not like Sci Fi? Honestly... *shakes head*) and his bff's Gary and Ed weren't available due to other bullshit.

I've never been to Chicago TARDIS. But I'm contemplating going to it instead of Gally. I've heard people say it's much more manageable.

I don't understand people who don't like any Sci Fi. It's like they are missing something, ya know?
