Whoops. Sort of missed the fact this post was in English. :P I said something along the lines of almost injuring myself while crossing everything for you.
Yeah no. That translated bit is far from any Dutch expression. ;) "Een ongeluk" literally means "an accident". The expression is used for whenever one is trying really hard at something, like "Ik 'work/study/train' me een ongeluk!" Not really sure why I'd get in an accident over it according to the expression, but I suppose I'm concentrating really hard on what I'm trying to accomplish (crossing everything for you), putting me in danger of causing or being in an accident because of that. Or something. :P
