I know, I arrived back from Northern Georgia, hoping for some kind of heat, but instead I arrived back to more cold weather? I was very disappointed myself in where I live.

I am very sorry you cannot find anything. I guess, if you stay around long enough, around January 22nd, there's a Gasparilla that happens every once a year? It's something to do down here, for now, other than go away to beaches, fishing, etc. (I'm not a big fan of "fishing," really, but if you are you may enjoy?)
And, I am so sorry we do not have people dressed up in robes, hoods, and masks; everyone around here does not dress up, unless you go to The Castle Club in Ybor, Florida (this is usually open at night and I tell you, if you go, personally from me to you, bring with you a friend or two and do not loose them. Ybor can be dangerous at night). Ybor City is okay during the day time, just be careful of the night time (very bad things happen at night there). I know, if I were there, or meeting up with you, I would so dress up just to make you smile. Haha
