i got a new ipod.
i named it violetta, because she's the main character in la traviata.
but my ipod is green, and violetta means purple.
but verdi wrote la traviata, and verdi means green!
so i named my purple phone violetta, and i named my phone giuseppe. because that's verdi's first name.

it's like a joke!

except for the part where i was stuck on a snowy freeway for two hours, and really had to pee.

I think my fuckup has finally righted itself.
I worked my ass off, I slept a ton, I sent out responsible, professional e-mails, I ran around Seattle this weekend with some of my favorite people, and I talked to my mom, which always helps.

I guess that means...time for next quarter?

For the second half of this quarter, I'm going to worry about myself first, and then deal with everyone else.

It's about time.

News travels fast in my family. 2 weeks ago, I told my cousin I was in the very early stages of seeing someone, and tonight my whole family was asking about my boyfriend. I really need a way to turn the next 6 weeks of summer into something spectacular. I've never felt this way coming down from camp before, and it looks like the coming down process is going to be as much of a rollercoaster-ride as camp itself.
