Animated Brushes

Is there a way to create animated brushes in gimp using different shades of grey? When I create gbr-brushes using different grey tones it affects the opacity of the brush.

In the last couple of days I wanted to create some animated brushes with varying opacity. But somehow I can't figure it out.

Does someone know how to do it?

As far as I know, you have to save rotating brushes as GIH. Here is a detailed tutorial on GimpTalk.

I know that I have to save it as gih, sorry if didn't mentioned it. I'll to try to explain it.
