Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good tuts on making banners/wallpapers? I've been searching and can't seem to find anything. Here's a picture of something similar to what I'd like to do:

Do you know how to mask? Most of that wallpaper is just masked pictures with some textures, coloration, and text.

Don't really have time to write up a tutorial, but if you search for GIMP masking tutorials you should be set.

This site has some for Gimp tutorials for wallpapers - not really the blended image kind but some other nice ones.
