ETA: I am making this open to everyone, not just my flist, so if you know someone who was a friend of hers, feel free to point them here. The same will apply to FB people.

This was published on FB by Lisa McLeod, and I share it here with her permission. tx_cronopio was a lovely human being, vibrant, caring, intelligent. All of us who knew her have lost ( Read more... )

Oh how heartbreaking. I wish I had known her well. We crossed paths in fandom here and there, but I never got to experience the extraordinary woman I now know her to be. My heart goes out to her friends, because their pain must be immense. Fuck COVID.

Totally agree. I exchanged a lot of comments here and there and we were also friends on FB, where she had her own page. She was fearless in calling out right-wing jerks, which says a lot about a woman living in that state. I miss her a lot.

You know, I've been thinking about her all morning and wondering if she did indeed pass away.

Thanks so much for posting this, I miss her all the time. We had many good laughs together.

She was just a delightful, honest, sincere woman. With a wicked sense of humour. When her friend posted this yesterday I felt I needed to share, but waited for permission.

I'm not sure how one goes about it, but it would be a good idea.

Thank you for posting this... I knew what had happened, mostly because I'd realized a few months ago that I hadn't heard from her in awhile and started asking around some of our mutual friends. I'm very sorry that she and I never ended up having the chance to meet in person (we had tried a few times, to work something out, when I was down in Texas... but we were never able to coordinate a meet up) and I'm also very sorry I missed the chance to send her a letter while she was in hospice. She is already missed so much.

It's extremely sad. She was the absolute epitome of a feisty woman. The world is poorer without her.
