ETA: I am making this open to everyone, not just my flist, so if you know someone who was a friend of hers, feel free to point them here. The same will apply to FB people.

This was published on FB by Lisa McLeod, and I share it here with her permission. tx_cronopio was a lovely human being, vibrant, caring, intelligent. All of us who knew her have lost ( Read more... )

I heard that she passed. How very sad.

Thanks for posting this, Gill.

I was touched by what Lisa wrote and was confident folks here would want to know.

It was perfect. I hope someone Memorializes her LJ.

I'm not sure how one goes about it, but it would be a good idea.

Somewhere in the FAQs there's a "how to memorialize someone's LJ." Basically, it means that the LJ won't be deleted due to non-use. You have to prove to them that the person is deceased, though. Here's an example of a memorialized LJ: i-wont-give-up.

Found "how to" in Help, Open a Support Request. I didn't have an obit for i-wont-give-up, but I basically begged LJ to do this, and said "read her last entries, dammit!" and found an external link to a concert that was given by her friends to raise money for her treatment. LJ took it as "good enough," and memorialized her LJ.

I had them set it to "Memorial Status".

Thank you very much for doing it. I had it on my "to do" list, but the last couple of days have been a bit full.
