I'm sorry for your loss, but it sounds as though the service was lovely, and certainly in a lovely place.
And congratulations, graduate! I'm so pleased you made it through, although not at all surprised.

It's a gorgeous church. Selby is a very old settlement. And, yes, snowdrops are very cheering at this time of year. There will be a spring, dammit!

Yes, as Joyce's daughter-in-law says below, it was a good turnout which would have pleased her greatly.
As for the graduation, that felt almost an anticlimax compared to the sheer enjoyment of doing the course. Thanks, though.
