How strange you two were so close for so long but never really contected before now.

There were only usually a dozen at most doing English in each year group in Trevelyan, so usually you'd know most people at least by sight. My friends were nearly all in other departments, though, or other colleges. It's weird that we even lived on adjacent floors, though - each block has only twelve rooms on each level.
