Unfortunately, I was a little too star-struck to successfully convey to the boys that the concept of a velvet painting was meant to be funny.  I think they thought I was extremely serious about this and extremely proud of this.  Since they both seem to be polite and respectful people, they also took the whole thing pretty seriously.  c'est la vie

Thanks! Doing these crazy ones always makes me such a nervous wreck that I feel like I'm missing out on the same experience that most people have. I'm thinking I'd like love to have one where we're all just grinning like fools. :D
