I'm finally caught up on all the episodes of Supernatural season three. Well, ok, while I do think that this season is better overall than seasons one and two, this season is also the most uneven season they have had yet. Like you said, the premier episode didn't really blow me away but then they had two really kick ass episodes (the one where Dean thought he was a dad and then the rabbit's foot episode) and then they followed those up with two clinkers (the fairy tale episode and the "Sin City" one which, ok, was all foreshadowing and insight into Dean's state of mind, which was kind of necessary to show, but that didn't stop it from being boring and lame). However, you are right that they are really taking strides in character development this season and strengthening the bond between Dean and Sam (and really, that's the whole show right there) and, I don't know, it seems like they are planning out shit ahead of time. Anyway.

OMG YES DEAN! Practically every episode this season conjured the same thought: "omg how is he so hot?!" It is seriously crazy how stunning and manly he is. Crazy.

I know you loved Jo but she made me angry. She refused to heed the advice of more seasoned people around her and dove into things headfirst. She's totally not going to live to see her 30th birthday and she should KNOW BETTER! I can't fault her motives in wanting to be a hunter (all hunters are hunters for revenge purposes) but I can fault her for being a frigging idiot about it. I think the thing that bothers me most about Bella (besides the voice and the accent because, yes) is that I just don't believe her as a badass. I don't know if that's bad acting or what but I don't buy her "tough guy" exterior and as a character she's not fleshed out enough for me to even give a damn about her motivations. Also, I was thinking about that sex dream last night when I was getting ready for bed and I think Bella drank some of the tea and went into Sam's dream and seduced him ( ... )
