Well, ok, while I do think that this season is better overall than seasons one and two, this season is also the most uneven season they have had yet. Like you said, the premier episode didn't really blow me away but then they had two really kick ass episodes (the one where Dean thought he was a dad and then the rabbit's foot episode) and then they followed those up with two clinkers (the fairy tale episode and the "Sin City" one which, ok, was all foreshadowing and insight into Dean's state of mind, which was kind of necessary to show, but that didn't stop it from being boring and lame). However, you are right that they are really taking strides in character development this season and strengthening the bond between Dean and Sam (and really, that's the whole show right there) and, I don't know, it seems like they are planning out shit ahead of time. I appreciate that.

Definitely Padalecki has stepped up his game this season (AND YES HOW AMAZING WAS THAT EPISODE AHHHHHH "do these tacos taste funny to you?" AHAHALSKDJFLJKLSDKJOIELKSD!!!!) and I knew that he had it in him because, even though his character on the Gilmore Girls didn't get this much screen time he was still very excellent as Dean Forester: Ideal BF. I just hope that the writer's strike won't affect the momentum they had going before they were forced to take a vacation from work... Also, during the strike Jared let his hair get looong. I saw pictures of him and his gf on ONTD taken while they were at some basketball game and he looked a) pissed and b) homeless. I am also still reeling over this Paris Hilton revelation. Seriously, I DO NOT GET GUYS! Is it just because she's rich because she's also spoiled, vain, most likely dumber than a chuck of cement and frankly, not very pretty! She must be willing to do things in the sack that no self-respecting woman would do in a bajillion years...
