The past three weeks have really been a crappy set! I was crushed when my boss laid me off because he isn't getting the business that he thought he was and couldn't afford to keep me on staff. I've considered it, but if this job comes through, I'll be out of here lickity split! I'm talking like the end of the week in a best case scenario. If I do end up moving at the end of the week then we'll do a round of drinks or something to celebrate my fortune.
I haven't got the job yet, but in the interview she told me that I was one of the top candidates out of eight people. Hehh, the guy after me she didn't even interview. She just blew it off and gave it to her assistant manager then she left to the airport.
