I am moving from my temporary location into an apartment in downtown Silver Spring this Saturday. Any help that people can give then would be much appreciated and I will happily provide food and drink to anyone who can give me a hand.

I need one or two people who can help me move this Thursday, June 25th. I know that this is a weekday and very short notice, so this is a tough request to fill. Unfortunately I am in a bind and have no choice. I will provide food and drinks to anyone who can help me.

It pays well and has good benefits and involves work I think I can do without going crazy. I have a pair of tickets to the Nationals game tomorow evening that I got for my birthday. I would like to go with somebody. Anybody up for an evening at the new ballpark?

Sometimes being a temp sucks. Different people have very different attitudes towards temps. Some people see them as reponsible adults who are a part of the team. Some see them as children who need to have their hands held.

I have one, for now. I got hired through a temp agency to begin work at an assignment that should run through the end of March. Pay is respectable, hours are usual business (8:30 to 5:30), but the commute isn't great- Gaithersburg to Georgetown, for which metro is not convenient. However, after six months of unemployment I am not going to complain.

I had a really fun time last night, and mostly unexpectedly. My lady friends, Jess and Katie, managed to convince me to actually dress up for Halloween, which is something I had not done in a very long time.
