Everything I have thought of to say in a repy to you when you post about your mom has seemed like a platitude, so I haven't replied.

Still, I want to offer you support and encouragement, so here they are.

I know what a hold my mom has over my emotions, and I imagine you have a similar relationship with your mother. I remember when I was little my mom fought with her mom, because sometimes when my mom tried to do things to help her, her mom got frustrated and nagged. I think it was really because my grandmother wanted to do those things for herself and couldn't, which she expressed by using her emotional power over her daughter. That was not good, and it might be that you are in a similar situation. I don't know what good a story is. I love stories, myself, and hearing about others who've been in sitautions like mine help me get through them.
