With Blaine's introspection, I struggled with it being too heavy and scaled it back a lot. I still think it's a little heavy handed but it works in there coupled with his still vulnerable emotional state (he's had a difficult couple of weeks).
I don't know about you, but as a teenager, I hated the idea that I was like my mum in any way, shape or form. This changed for me with perspective and age. With Blaine, he hates looking into the mirror right now because all he can see is his dad's selfishness.
There is quite the tangle to come with the boys, especially through Christmas. I consider this chapter a prelude to action. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
