Thank you so much for posting a new chapter. Wow - you said it was an interlude, but it sure seems like a lot has happened. I love the intrigue. Thad seems very likely to use the deal to blackmail Blaine into more sex. It is nice to see Kurt recognized by another character as the hottie he is and good to see that he is willing to go on the date. I do feel badly for Blaine though, with all his negative comparisons of himself to his father. It is nice to get this insight into why he is acting the way he has with all the drugging and non-con. I am definitely excited for the next chapter, but I feel quite satisfied with this one. So thanks for giving us something to tide us over for a while.

Oh good. *sighs with relief* Those were all the notes I wanted to hit!

With Blaine's introspection, I struggled with it being too heavy and scaled it back a lot. I still think it's a little heavy handed but it works in there coupled with his still vulnerable emotional state (he's had a difficult couple of weeks).

I don't know about you, but as a teenager, I hated the idea that I was like my mum in any way, shape or form. This changed for me with perspective and age. With Blaine, he hates looking into the mirror right now because all he can see is his dad's selfishness.

There is quite the tangle to come with the boys, especially through Christmas. I consider this chapter a prelude to action. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Great chapter. Loved the insight into Blaine's family life. Also, I really love Jimmy, like a lot?

Great chapter. I am glad Kurt found someone who is not afraid of telling him his feelings. I also look forward to seeing Kurt tell Blaine about his feelings.
