[After a while of peace and quiet, a curious little kid, 4'5 in a big black trenchcoat, approaches Axl slowly. He's staring with strangely sharp blue eyes, not all that unlike Zero's. And another surprise, when he talks it's deep like an adult's voice, instead of an expected kid model's one.]

Hi. Do you know where I am?

He finally gets to be taller than SOMEBODY. \o/

[That's...unusual, definitely, but Axl plays it casual.]

...do you remember how you got here? Because from what we can tell a lot of people have been having some weird problems with that lately.

[A shake of Blues' head. He raises a hand to his right temple, frowning.]

No, I don't. Memory corruption hit me pretty hard. I'm not sure where I'm from or where I was even going...

[Then, possibly unexpectedly, he chuckles and a smile cracks the serious look on his face.]

But at least I didn't land in water.

[A short laugh. Thanks for the joke, Blues, Axl needed something to laugh about.]

This is gonna sound weird, but do you remember what the date was before you got here?

[X had probably ended up spending just as much time down as Axl, all things considered. After he'd finally escaped from medical, he'd gone walking to clear his mind - or try to, anyway. It had taken him up to the landing pad where he'd talked with his twin for a little while.

After that, he'd gone looking for Axl. He knew the kid wouldn't be taking things well - who would? Plus, he was still worried about him and wanted to make sure he was okay.

It took him a while, but eventually he tracked Axl down in the middle of one of his non-sulks. He walked up and lightly put a hand on his shoulder.]

Hey.

[gunslinging]

[Oh, snap.

Axl puts on the best nonchalant expression he can manage. Even if he's a good enough actor to swing that, though, he doesn't quite have his performance together enough to fix his body language -- he's just way too tense to be as unconcerned as he's trying to look.]

Hi.

[X may not be the master of reading body language, but he knows Axl too well for him to fake him out like that. The kid is all kinds of wound up right now.

If he'd been Zero, X might have offered to spar a bit to let him unwind, but considering that Axl was upset because he'd been forced to shoot him, X doubted a session in the training rooms would help.

He offered a warm smile instead.]

[Yeah, well, even if X knows him better than that, it won't stop Axl from trying.]
