[After a while of peace and quiet, a curious little kid, 4'5 in a big black trenchcoat, approaches Axl slowly. He's staring with strangely sharp blue eyes, not all that unlike Zero's. And another surprise, when he talks it's deep like an adult's voice, instead of an expected kid model's one.]

Hi. Do you know where I am?

He finally gets to be taller than SOMEBODY. \o/

[A shake of Blues' head. He raises a hand to his right temple, frowning.]

No, I don't. Memory corruption hit me pretty hard. I'm not sure where I'm from or where I was even going...

[Then, possibly unexpectedly, he chuckles and a smile cracks the serious look on his face.]

But at least I didn't land in water.

[A short laugh. Thanks for the joke, Blues, Axl needed something to laugh about.]

This is gonna sound weird, but do you remember what the date was before you got here?

Not so weird. I'm wondering the same thing. I think I'm used to long downtimes...

[He closes his eyes, an easy smile still on his face. Like it's not bothering him when he knows where he is.]

98.7% of my memories got corrupted, so I'm pretty lost.

Somehow, I don't think it's all that bad. I could have gotten all my system information wiped out, too. I isolated the corrupted sectors so I don't overwrite them, in case I can recover them.

[He still smiles, looking at Axl. He's... Unnaturally calm, isn't he? Like he's lived long enough that nothing surprises him.]

My system information say my name is Blues. It's nice to meet you.

Well, yeah, I guess it could definitely be worse.

[He raises his red-gloved hand up in a mock-salute, tapping them against his forehead for a moment.]

Why did you ask about the date?

[A pause, as if he considers something...]

Does an activation date work for you?

It's been...kind of a problem for a lot of people who aren't sure how they get here -- and even some people who do know how they got here, actually. Internal clocks not matching up to local. Sometimes it's just by a couple weeks.

Some people are off by years.

[He shrugs.] Something really weird is going on, but...nobody's really sure what, yet.

Activation date's better than nothing. What do you have?

Mine doesn't work, it's stuck on glitch o'clock.

[He listens quietly, sobering and looking with such a serious look on his face that it could rival X's.]

...Time displacement...?

[He says it softly, not quite sure. Each time he tries to think on it further he gets a blaring corrupt data warning.]

[As in the really early 20XX's, yes.]

[For a brief moment Axl just kind of stares, before shaking his head and letting out a low, impressed whistle.]

Either you're time traveling or you're older than dirt, because it's 21XX now.

You gonna try and find somebody to do a systems recovery, or are you just gonna roll with it?

[He thinks Alia might be able to help, but then again, she's got a lot to work on, so maybe offering on her behalf isn't the best thing to do right now.

And really, he wouldn't be surprised if Blues turned it down even if he did. Most people don't like strangers poking around in their CPU, after all.]
