Could the bf and I just use chopsticks, do you think? The amount of plain and simple flatware is vastly different to the amount of plain and simple dishes and drinkware.
Dude, I kind of agree with this. Most reviews are clearly written by picky assholes, and people who have had positive experiences can't be bothered to let anyone know. It's kind of a pain in the ass. I've decided to stop reading the ratings sites, otherwise we'll never find someplace suitable.
I think I remember having white with colorful polka dots on my or my sister's bedding when we were little. Also, colorful stripes. Colors are awesome. :D
...and I can't really cook, so I'm no help there. :P
I found some fairly plain, but very colorful dots on white fabric, and I really like it, but it still seems a bit on the feminine side. Hmph.
Hee! I can cook, but I don't have to right now. Still, looking through recipes is fun, and I want the bf and I to have some new and interesting things to try together.
hm, that does strike me as a little feminine, yes. it does look really nice, though! from what I remember, the stuff I had looked something like this (though I remember the colors being more vivid and the dots being not quite as busy and close together), which was nice and simple.
lol I want to have a kitchen next year SO BAD even though I can't really cook at all. it'd be worth it just for pasta, but I'd like to learn to make some yummy things. :D
I could totally get on board with bigger polka dots in primary colors, yes! I think the pinks and greens and yellows in the one I linked you to are just a little on the spring-y, feminine side. We'll have to see what I can find - I definitely have a while to decide!
Well, you could do a lot of quick and easy things at least, with a stove and an oven, even if it's just pre-packaged stuff. That way you don't have to depend on campus dining hours, etc. And, like you said, PASTA!
Flatware is specifically forks and spoons and knives, actually. And unfortunately, most of it is fairly ugly. Unfortunately.
Hahaha, seriously, don't get me or the bf started on how much we hate Disney. I mean yes, okay, I went to Disneyworld when I was a kid and it was fun, but Disney is just so much more and so much bigger now. I hate that as a corporation they're in charge of what kids watch and wear and play with. Not to mention Disney totally sucks as far as race and gender stereotypes
( ... )
In that case, get someone rich to buy you flatware. It comes in shitty, or nice-but-expensive in my experience.
I used to build car parks for my toy cars out of lego... But I also loved my dolls. I consider this a perfect childhood mix. Lol. Ooh, making plaster casts for dolls out of toilet roll and water is fun too! But that's more of an activity for older children :)
