my grandparents are here! they are cool people. last night we took them to see the construction on roosevelt, lincoln, and university house. they'll be at my concert tomorrow with youth so ya'll can meet them (or just see them) if you want. i look a lot like my grandma

I wish we had the salutatorian system at GHS. As it is, we have like 40 valedictorians, some who are genuinely smart, others who took easy classes. Lame. Oh, and congrats!

Oh no! That's SO not what I meant at all! The "genuinely smart" wording wasn't the right phrase. It just seems weird to me that people get the same title for vastly different levels of work done.
