This is, hands down, the best of the (few) QL vids I've seen. Makes me understand both the show and the song better. What I'm getting out of it is ... hm, an eyes-open, guarded sort of celebration? There are awful, painful and shameful things in our American music, but it's us -- we recognize ourselves (and white male recognizes black and female) in it. And there's an exuberance and a good will to keep trying. I don't know how to put it. Anyway, brilliant vid. Brilliant.
