Duo's report portion of his assignment isn't that great. He does well in the hands-on portion of the class, that's no doubt, but he clearly doesn't like doing reports and homework and research. He skates by with basic report filling nothing but the basic requirements. He does give two, "I want to learn" things. (1) He wants to learn about the best hit and run idea. He understands that isn't 'dueling' in the purest sense, but it is a good defensive maneuver if one catches you off guard and you're unable to duel. (2) He wants to know if pranking types of hexes and jinxes are allowed in class............ yeah...

Tieria's report is detailed, concise, and clearly well thought out. He's put a lot of effort into this. He wants to learn (1) about dueling multiple opponents and (2) about being part of a team, possibly against one very strong person or team vs team.

Wolfram von Bielefeld

Due to his time at Durmstrangs, Wolfram has extensive knowledge in this course. His paper is longer than asked for, and is actually a little less than five pages as he's condensed everything he could. The history of dueling is long, and in Wolfram's mind cannot be just a few paragraphs long.

Things Wolfram would like to learn:
1. More spells concerning fire.
2. Common non-verbal spells used in a duel.
3. Non-violent attack spells.

Trowa: Did well with the essay, wrote the required amount, neatly and concisely, touching on personal thoughts on techniques talked about in class. While he prefers the hands on part of the class, he has no trouble studying and organizing essays. He wants to learn different ways of dueling in a more practical sense, seeing little use for the formal duels.

Dorothy: Had no problem with the length or content, and simply said she would learn whatever Reborn wished to teach that would help in a fight, serious or formal.

Allelujah: Wrote a bit on the lengthy side of the essay as he had a few extra points he wanted to add to the dos and don'ts, despite his small and tidy hand writing and the fact English wasn't his first language. He wants to learn indepth about dueling large forces, both mentally and physically.

Marta's paragraphs are relatively average in terms of length, and it's clear that she knows at least a little bit about the subject. She's concise without being too vague. Also, she'd like to learn more about defensive and immobilizing spells. |D
