Greg worked today until five so after sleeping in a little, I straightened up the house for our supper company.  This is my first time hosting a dinner party other than my parents or siblings, so I was kind of nervous even though we were entertaining close friends.  But everything went really well from start to finish

Thanks for the recipe. Might try that for tea sometime, though I'll have to use something other than shrimp as my husband doesn't do fish! Think we even have all the ingredients (& our store cupboard needs restocking in some areas!)

If you're not going to do fish, are you going to try chicken? I can definitely see using chicken. If you do, let me know how it works out!

Actually used smoked turkey, & tagliatelle, & it was very nice (even though I managed to burn the sauce to the bottom of the pan. It was a non-stick pan so it came off) But I can definitely see chicken working too. We had it last night.
