Greg worked today until five so after sleeping in a little, I straightened up the house for our supper company.  This is my first time hosting a dinner party other than my parents or siblings, so I was kind of nervous even though we were entertaining close friends.  But everything went really well from start to finish ( Read more... )

My cherry tomato plants are sprouting!  Woo!  So are the wild flower seeds (or whatever they were) that G planted.

Still no sign of the strawberries though.  And my petunias aren't doing so hot.  I don't know if it's where we bought them from or if it's because of the heat, but they are dying off one by one.  I pulled a couple more dead ones out ( Read more... )

It's pouring right now and we have a leak in the ceiling!!  And it's a bad one too!
