Playoff Beard??

Well I haven't shaved since the last day of work on Thursday. As such I'm thinking on the possibility of doing something rather manly and grow a playoff beard. Trouble is as I don't really have a "home" team to root for, I'm at a loss as to what team to really support. I suggest a current picture, first. :D

Definitely not the Panthers; they've missed the playoffs for the ninth year in a row. The Lightning, Hurricanes, and Thrashers all missed too. Hockey just isn't the South's game, is it? Personally, I go for the Penguins in NHL, but that's mainly because one of my best friends is a fan.

Personally, I'm kind of cheering for Phoenix. Great "underdog makes good" story there. The Chicago Black Hawks would be a good choice for the same reason - plus, Patrick Kane is kind of cute. *grin*

In the Vancouver-L.A. series, I have to admit to being torn. I feel like I should be cheering for Vancouver, as they're Canadian and I couldn't cheer for Montreal or Ottawa even if I wanted to - I'd be run out of town). But I have a soft spot for the Kings.
