Wow, a treat from the first sentence to the last one. Actually the FIRST sentence cracked me up. :) What followed, was...just like a kick in that old slash/y ass that I missed. You can call it Gen, but stick M in a room with unconscious K, it's slash from the very first moment. ;)

Whee! This is fun. And everybody sounds in character, which is important to me. Loved Mulder's itchiness to have some puzzle to solve. And this: "Where were all the liver-eating mutants hiding these days, anyway? Probably writing high-protein diet books. Lower your carbs and rid yourself of unwanted neighbors"--loved it!
