I'm a writer/editor, photograph maker, food snob, and bookworm with Lorax-like tendencies. I love to learn and to try new things. I'm happy being alone most of the time. And I feel it's my responsibility to contribute to my community, whether in big or small ways.

What do you do for work? Me. I'm retired and, finally, very good at it.
What do you do for play? I sew and knit and crochet and watch baseball and swim.
Please describe yourself in at least 3 sentences I'm an overweight old lady who's far more of a Get Off My Lawn than a people person but I can be delightful. I value the consistency of the indoors. I love TV but movies, not so much. I read a lot of fiction but all of it via audio books so I can play casual games while I listen.

What does your username mean: Zhelana is old Russian for "wanted one." It is the name I use within the SCA, and pretty much everywhere else.

What do you do for work? Nothing :( I am a disabled veteran (but don't worry, quite liberal!)
What do you do for play? SCA, broadsword fighting, rapier fighting, kumihimo, photography, writing, researching, pysanky, WOW, reading, watching geeky movies.
Please describe yourself in at least 3 sentences I am schizoaffective, but more often manic than depressed. i have two dogs and two cats, and I love them all with all my heart. I like to sleep from 3am to noon, and often even later than this. I post every day.

What do you do for work? I'm an officer manager and props artisan for one of the longest continuously running community theatres in the country.
What do you do for play? Well, theatre (dug), travel, cook, play with my cats(11 at the moment), love my Big Guy and The Boy, write, quilt, read and so on
Please describe yourself in at least 3 sentences I am always ready to see what's on the other side of the hill, I love my fandoms and I love my life. I'm optimistic and want to see the good in everything, but don't make any mistakes as the last thing I am is a pushover (unless you are a cat, of course)
