Pretty Pretty

We have a patch of arctic roses growing as they will in our front yard.  With the recent rain, they are just starting to bloom.  Every year, we get a lot of dragonflies around the roses and it's one of my favorite things about Alaska's Summer.  Yesterday the dragonflies were so thick I was afraid I was going to step on one as I walked up and down ( Read more... )

There are a ton of dragonflies in my yard. I've never seen so many up here before!

Some are, most of these are pretty small and not very colourful yet.

I love things that look like dragonflies like jewelry etc. But actual dragonflies scare the living crap out of me. *goes off to google arctic roses*
