While the extended nap of some days ago was certainly refreshing, I cannot consider it ample compensation for recent days' complete inability to sleep at all. This manner of deprivation is unusually cruel and utterly unacceptable. I do not comprehend why we stand for it. I must I must recommend that others avoid my company until this outrage is ( Read more... )

It's nice to see that you're awake, but not that awake. Have you been to Wellspring? Maybe they can help somehow.

I assure you that that was my first thought. They have done an admirable job of shrugging their shoulders at me.

It must still be the Sphere, then... at least you're awake while you're writing.

A pleasure that I am willing to forfeit.

I'm going to come out and suggest a swift blow to the head any time now.

In the meantime, I'll just send said small dragon over to Krile until this is over, how's that?

Please do. Or else I may pass said swift blow to the head on.

[Next time Hawk sees Huo, he's so getting the "I love you like a brother, but you lay a finger on my dragon and there'll be hell to pay" look. And yes, that is a specific look.]

And if you need me, I'll just be on the roof.

[He won't lay a finger. He'll throw things.]

A fine vantage point from which to watch me walk into trees.

If it gets too bad, please go to Wellspring.

Also, I don't believe I have been informed that small dragons have taken to reading.

[OOC: When is this posted? I'm assuming this is after Lyle's 24-hour cocooning is done?]

Wellspring has proven about as much use as a book to a small dragon, except that I could not chew on it for what seems to be pure spite.

[OOC: Should be I think? ^^]

If it's a Tree-related condition, Wellspring can't usually cure you, true. Lessening effects of this outrage, on the other hand, is more doable.

Else I can only offer books or games to help pass time.

I am not sure what you mean by lessening the effects. Sleep is, as you might say, a binary state.

[He's not that bad! - err, yet.]

Have you tried jogging?

getsome_sleep April 26 2011, 20:19:19 UTC
Of course. What is more natural than a jog when one's head spins with exhaustion?

I do not know if you are teasing me or serious. But it is a natural option!

And when I can no longer stand, I shall presumably do some sit-ups?
