yeah they are "plottes d'épingles" which could be translated to "sewing needle's pussy" hahah... it's a play on words because in french "pelotte" is usually a ball of wool or something to hold your sewing needles and we also have a slang word for vagina which is "plotte". But it's not a very nice word hahah. XD
i have that fruits book! well, the first one, i don't have the second one.
where did you get those japanese magazines? can you recommend some cool ones? like, entertainment/music or anything cool? i think i know where to get them i just don't really know what the cool ones are called.
my uncle lives in japan so maybe i can ask him to get some for me, although it might be kinda rude to ask :\ idk. but i know there's a store in toronto that sells japanese magazines. so i'll try that. thanks again!
ps. i like the first pic you posted, she has a cool style.
I know that the gothic and lolita bible now has an American version that you can order at big book stores like Chapters, Indigo and Borders. But the american version is different (only 2 issues...it's very recent) from the japanese one. I prefer the japanese one.
Most magazines can be ordered online but it gets expensive.
I recommend using the books Minna no nihongo they're the best I found so far and they seem to be the most used books all over the world. That's what we used in University. You can also get the CDs and videos that come with them..though that might be a little expensive and not totally necessary
