Hopefully this stupidity gets left behind in 2010

Stalking EGL cause my boyfriend got massively sick yesterday, so we're spending New Year's Eve at home instead of going to our friend's party.  Assuming most everyone else here has better luck with their holiday plans, I'll just post this here for some New Year's gossip fun.

glamfabzombie posted on egl that she'd like to buy an Angelic Pretty LP if anyone should ( Read more... )

noob, but i'm poor, luckypack madness!, do it for me

Yes. I felt like the celebration of the new year required something fancier than your typical 'right click > save' comment. That, and I was bored.

YIPPIE!

Noob posts don't even phase me anymore, but blatant fucking around irritates me. If you're going to be a bitch, be one that follows the rules. >_>

(Thanks for the bf sympathy...he's pretty much been a walking plague this year, so I'm not even surprised he's sick again.)

This isn't really gtfo out worthy imo.

Oh well, she's dumb for not just taking the criticism and reposting it in the sales comm lol

Not her original screw up (not following the rules), but I think her replies to everyone's comments warning her about breaking the rules belong here quite well.

And I didn't even get around to updating the freezepage to include her reply to my comment about being banned by mods.

"No one ever said I didn't care about breaking the rules. I said I didn't care if people I've never met before bash me online. When I read the first reply I was like 'aww ... oopsie, that was my bad, guess I didn't think that through very well' so I figured I'd explain myself but then I didn't even get a chance to say 'oh, you're right, sorry' and it went immediately to talking about bashing.

Here's my public apology for breaking the rules; SORRY GUYS. I'M A FUCK UP. DISREGARD BUT STILL CONSIDER SELLING ME YOUR LYRICAL PARTY CASUAL SET IF YOU GET PURPLE. "

Still think it's not gtfo worthy?

That reminds me of what I used to do as a child. Whenever I really wanted something and my mom wouldn't let me have it, our conversation about it was very circular:

"But, I WANT it."

"But it's against the rules, no desert until after dinner."

"But, you don't get it. I WANT it."

"No."

"I WANT IT REALLY BAD."

etc, etc

Reminds me about the kids at work.

"Mommy, can I have that toy?"

"No"

"Why?"

"Cuz I said so."

"But I WAAAAAAANTTTTT IIIIIIIIITTTT" *proceed to throw tantrum*

I like that she seems to think that the sales comm is super obscure or something. At least usually when people post stuff better for a local comm to egl you can see their reasoning, even if their logic is lacking ('nobody posts on that comm, so I'm going to post to egl & wonder why nobody posts at this other comm...'). But srsly. If there are any people who are members of egl but NOT the sales comm, chances are they aren't interested in selling (or are a scammer unable to apply for a feedback page).

Would be poetic justice if a scammer contacted her about getting that LP... >_>
