I've been searching for a good 'in character' fic for a week now and I'm suffering from QAF-FanFictionWithdrawelSyndrome. I start reading fics and then conclude that they're too angsty (I can do angst, but not chapters and chapters long, I want my boys together and in love) or too OOC.

I always direct people to my recs post because there are just some fics that people tend to miss if they haven't been in fandom long.

I've highlighed some stories but most of the authors I mention, it's just best to read everything! Oh and definitely no "baby" or out of character characterization. Okay, Rizabeau's stories have "baby" and a little, a smidge out of character but still unusually addictive. I think that's the only one I need to warn you about.

If I might bud in, I so agree with you about Rizabeau's stories!!!!! At first when I read the first 'baby' I was like >_> oh great here we go again... But her stories are just so addictive and so well written that it just comes a point where I don't even notice those little things that in other fics might have caused me to turn away from them ^_^!!!! I REALLY rec ALL of her stories, they just amazing. And so help me, they will most certainly keep you reading for days, no matter how fast you think you are at reading!!!!

Ok, perhaps I'll finish the very long series with the twins ... I stopped because of the baby-factor and the fact that the break-up is really really long.

I just can't handle too much angst. I'm a baby like that. ;-)

Her stories are so worth it, you really should try to read them. And the nding is just ll nice and fluffy ^_^!!!!!!!!

I have been told I don't promote myself enough, so here goes... my boys are always together and always in love. If you don't like WIP's avoid "Of Boxes and Bands" but you might like my one shots :) (my qaf fic here)
