I assume you have read everything by Gaedhal all of them are beautifully long and angsty.

Oh yes. I'm hanging on Coup de Foudre and hoping it will all work out okay ... not sure it's going to, though!

Don't know if you have read Britin's Turing Point at Midnight Whispers. There is some real angst in this novel but things turn around in later chapters.It tugs at my heart string so fiercely sometimes but it also brings tears to my eyes at some critical moments.
Warning: It's a rape novel.
