By any chance, would the fic your looking for be Tagsit's wonderful Smoldering? I remember that Justin and Brian made a deal that Brian ordered him food and if Justin wanted something else, he would tap Brian's thigh.

Hi. I'm tickled that the thing you remmbered about my story was the little interplay whereby Justin would signal Brian if he was too nervous to order his own food. LOL. I stole that idea from something my parents used to do with me as a child.
