You know how there's a vampire story about "Byrant," that sounds a lot like Brian Kinney, and could certainly be played by Gale Harold (and no one else) and there's a minor character that sounds a little like Justin only he spends most of the story being a damsel-in-distress (which I really don't think Justin is) and only at the very very end turns

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm not looking for "Indifference" (I'd forgotten the title, thanks). I was just trying to use those two stories as examples of what I'd like to read. I'm looking for other stories that are similar to "Indifference" and to that detective story in that the main characters aren't Brian and Justin.

It was "A Reason To Believe" and it was about a tall cop who meets a short (but dark haired) guy who was a psychic and who helps him solve a murder, and totally felt like Gale and Randy were meant to play the characters.

...I've read "Gone." It's the kind of thing I'm looking for, except I'd like to know of stories that would focus on the characters played by Gale and Randy. In "Gone," the love story is between Gale's character and an original character, while the character Randy would play is a minor part (and kind of plays damsel-in-distress).

Uhm, I'm not looking for a specific story, I'm just wondering if there are other stories out there people can recommend that are about characters that would be played by G & R, and focus on those two characters.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as what you are looking for, but it's a story based on the part Gale played on the TV show Vanished, and the part Randy played in the TV movie Bang Bang You're Dead (you don't have to have seen either to follow the story).
