Fergus and Marsali returning to town to run a print shop is wonderful, and I absolutely love that first edition. I thought Gabaldon was sort of dragging out Fergus's storyline, teasing without satisfying. I do like the whole Fergus story - like Marsali, "I want him." heheheh or at least, more about him. Frank Randall is Claire's first husband, older than she by a fair few years, more experienced in life yet less engaged with it. The first couple of volumes left me unsympathetic to the fellow, beyond the first couple of chapters.
