I swear if you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all. Sorry about the computer grief - it senses your weak spots and leaps in to attack. At least you have a back up.

Yes well, there are patterns to this and I hope that the upswing is coming soon. I just need to make it through the year, then I will be home and all will be different, if not better.

It was my birthday last year that you replaced the power source in my computer and the battery in my old truck, so we are a few weeks from the one year mark. So, I will have the cash to get the damn computer fixed in a week or two, feel like messing with it if I bring it to your place?

I can look at it. I'll need the box itself, and the video cable. The one I thought I had grew legs at some point.

I just replaced the Processor, and added yet another fan to mine in June.

Take care of yourself. I'm scared all of this stress is going to land you in the hospital, and let me tell you that has seriously f*d up my budget for the rest of my life.

While it is true that most of the chronic diseases I have are aggravated by stress, I am not likely to land in the hospital unless I get a secondary infection. I am very careful not to get one. (Hibiclens is my friend) But I am doing little things that help me stop stressing if only for a little bit, I promise! I thank you for the good luck thoughts, always. I have been thinking of you and hoping that you are feeling some better. I was thinking of you a lot this weekend as my sister and I wayyyyyy overdid it at the Fair, we were both pretty sore and sad at the end (my sister with systemic lupus) but we had so much fun, it was mostly worth it.

I was in last week - nearly died - because I developed internal bleeding from my ulcer. Stress can be deadly. I had six transfusions and two platelets. I feel like a car whose oil was changed.
