I have profiles on singles sites, who doesn't these days? But I rarely check them and even less often update them, so imagine my surprise when I got an email saying 'hey, you got mail'. So I checked it. It's a girl not too far away looking for "people I can be myself with" according to her profile. She also says she has an IQ higher than " ( Read more... )

I'll email you soon. I just got my acct back because of my technologically challenged....eldest is at it again. 4:46 a.m & he just wont quit. I finally screamed at his over indulgent supposed to be a father to just go to work and get out of my face, this 3 against 1 is stupid. eldest didnt need his guitar and amplifier on all night and the warden acts like its a crime when the neighbors make noise cuz he has to get up so early, yet his own kid can do it and that is ok.....whatever

I'd be writing back if only to tell her what the word means. And ask what kind of flora she's growing in her eye...

This rang a bell with me, so I did a little looking around. I thought it might have something to do with hydroponics - odd that I should make that connection, how very strange! An inoculant is a substance added to the solution in which one grows hydroponic plants, in order to make the plants grow abundantly and disease-free. So she got the word right... but she did spell it wrong...

ah, well, then. I'm still in no mood to make new friends, I don't make enough time for the ones I have currently, but it is nice to know that she is only confused on spelling then. ;)

And "smarter than a hydroponic plant in a richer-than-usual nutrient solution" is, it must be admitted, a bit of a head-scratcher. As compared to other kinds of plants? Are hydroponic plants less smart, and how did we find that out? It is to wonder, the way we tie knots in our own language sometimes.

I figured if I couldn't figure it out, I wasn't smart enough to have a conversation with her.

Or that I would become frustrated with her "Intelligenter than Thou" 'tude and want to smack a bitch.

(yes, I can't spell either and I am not even hitting the spellcheck because that isn't a real word! *laughs a bit hysterically*)

also, apropo of nothing in this post; I love that you are so down to Earth and grounded and still able to see and experience wonder, have I told you that? I do. *hug*
