I very stubbornly refused to leave my house today (except to walk across the yard to the laundry) and it has been lovely. I also didn't do anything of value except work on leveling up my character for next weeks D&D day and played a lot of Fate on the computer. And gathered my notes on the story I am writing, should I ever be able to get Venka out

in the entry previous I linked to the start of the Venka story, it is based on an epic D&D game we spent five or more years on, and though the campaign ended the story did not, and the DM (my exroomie DHM) gave me the go ahead to make a story out of it and to see where the end might be. And I will need to change some stuff that is proprietary to Wizards of the Coast and also change some names, for instance we named the Iron Golem Dorfl, and I am sure Terry Pratchett would like it if I didn't steal his charcater names. (though his Dorfl is a clay Golem)

But you probably already saw that part of the story since I posted is a few years ago, and then lost the damn thing, and have it back now, happily.

Venka was my character, she is turning into a Dragon. I have great affection for her. If you have time, feel free to read the start and comment, constructive criticism is always welcome. ;)

I found it, but have no time today. I'll definitely have a look though, even though fantasy is not "my" genre to read, I can appreciate the work that goes into writing as I can never find enough time.
